Beautiful Clearwater Lake lies between the quiet little Missouri towns of Ellington and Piedmont. This is where you will find all the summer fun in the sun and more. They can accommodate just about any need you may have while visiting including information about Webb Creek Recreation Area.
If you’re planning to stay overnight on the Ellington, MO side, you’re in luck because Webb Creek Recreation Area is just up the hill from Webb Creek Marina. Camping is available as the park has 35 campsites. Most have Electric, as well as, Hot Showers. Modern and Compost Restrooms, as well as, Water and Dump Station are all available.
Clearwater Lake has a lot to offer in the way of recreation. Activities include boating, fishing, water skiing, sailing, camping, hunting, and hiking. Primitive and modern camping facilities are available along with lodging facilities, shops, and restaurants around the lake. For water sports, there are plenty of boat ramps around the lake.

Hunting at Clearwater Lake
One of the most popular activities in the area is deer hunting. Hunting for several game species is permitted on project lands around Clearwater Lake. A proper license must be obtained. Hunting & Fishing Licenses can be obtained at Webb Creek Marina. Hunters also have the opportunity to harvest quail, squirrels, rabbit, turkey, and doves. Clearwater participates in a yearly mobility impaired deer hunt as well as a wounded warrior deer hunt on project lands. Please remember, hunting is not permitted within recreation areas, therefore, please refer to the Clearwater Lake Map for authorized hunting areas. FOR MAP CLICK HERE.
Clearwater can be raised almost 70 feet. Due to the lakes age and changing water levels, Clearwater is void of trees at normal level. When the lake is raised, however, the shoreline brush and trees become flooded, which is known provide some excellent fishing spots.
Clearwater Lake is made up of a main lake with three main arms, Black River, Logan Creek, and Webb Creek. Although the lake is fed by the Black River, which enters from the north. At Clearwater Lake you will have the opportunity to land Black Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Cat Fish, White Bass, and Carp.
