Trinidad Lake is a wonderful place to escape the crowds and establish a basecamp from which to explore the great outdoors plus visit interesting local attractions. Area attractions like the former mining town of Trinidad with its colorful history make great side trips.
There’s so much to see on Trinidad’s trails! Ten miles of trails reward eager explorers wanting to learn, exercise or conduct nature study. Several trails are ADA-accessible. Sights range from open vistas, to grasslands, forests, cliffs and ponds. Cold-weather enthusiasts can enjoy hiking all winter.
